Compatibility problem in Vision

Sending this message again, to the correct forum!

I hope you can help me with a visio based question, i have version 2003 and
my manager has version 2007 i am trying to send something to him but he
cannot open it even though he has a later version than mine, is there
anything you can suggest? i cant get 2007 either..

Are you attempting to send a 'generic' drawing or something with smarts (i.e.
an org chart or something with code associated with it)?

1. What type of file are you trying to send? Is it a .vsd file?
2. What do you mean by "send"? Email? Via a shared folder?
3. Is there an error message of any kind?
4. As Al said, do you both have the same level of Visio, Standard or
Professional?
