Compatibility question

I am now in school and have been given a
textbook, "Introduction to Computers" that includes an
Office Data CD disc of Office XP Brief Edition. I am told
that I must copy the folders and files from the Office
Data CD to a folder on my hard drive. At school and at
work, I have Windows XP operating system as well as
Office XP Professional. I also have Windows XP at
HOME...but NOT Office XP....I have Office 2000.

My question is this: Is the Office Data CD disc that
accompanies my textbook....and all files and folders that
I am to download....compatible with my Office 2000 at
home?

Does the book give any instructions? Have you asked your professors?

Only the people who supplied the CD can answer that; without knowing the
content of the CD any answer would be a guess.
