Compatible Office Software for Windows XP

Is 97 Office Professional or Office 2000 compatible with
Windows XP? Which one would you suggest using? Isn't
there some sort of comparison guide on your intranet
site? If so I could not find it with any of my searches.

Hi Barb,

Both Office 97 and Office 2000 are discontinued
products, Office XP (2002) is being retired in
October with Office 2003 coming out.
Some information on the differences between Office XP
and Office 2000 is still available at
http://microsoft.com/office/previous

All of those versions will work on Windows XP.

If you purchase any Office XP Product now
http://microsoft.com/office/howtobuy
you'll be able to get the matching Office 2003
edition for the cost of shipping and handling
