compile error between excel 2002 and excel 2000

A colleague wrote a macro using excel 2002 and emailed it to me. I
opened it and ran it using excel 2000 and received several "compile
error: named argument not found" messages.



However, when I run the same macro on another computer here in my office
that has office 2002, it ran perfectly, without any errors.



Is there some patch or download that I need so that I can run the macro
from Excel 2000? I thought these things were supposed to be backward
compatible.



Any help would be greatly appreciated.
