Compile error in hidden module: basInterface

Since installing some software some months ago, which I uninstalle
almost immediately, my Word 2000 comes up with this error message ever
time I open it. I click OK and it disappears, after which everything i
normal. How can I ged rid of it permanently?
Apologies if this topic has been covered before. I am new to thi
site, and so far I have not found any way of searching it for
specific topic

Thank you very much. By following the instructions on the page you gav
me, I found that "WordToys" was the problem. Having deleted this, th
message no longer appears
