COMPILE ERROR IN HIDDEN MODULE: LOCALIZATION MODULE

I have Word 97 installed on XP and it is not working properly. When I first
open it I get "Compile Error in hidden Module:Localization Error" as a
Microsoft Visual Basic Error. I am unable to save anything for when I open
it, it is a blank document. I have 3 pages of labels to print and cannot get
this to work. I have reinstalled it 3 times and it is saying that Word has
completely installed correctly but it will not work. What could be causing
this problem??
