Compile Error - Only when Word launched from Outlook

I have a set of global templates stored in the STARTUP folder. They
perform a variety of functions customising Word for use in our company.

We have recently found that there seems to be a problem when printing
an attachment in an email message, or opening an attachment from an email
when Word is not already open.

We get a compile error "Compile error on hidden module bPrint"

We can then see that one of the templates has been disabled, and have
to enable it in the list found in Help, About MS Word.

I know that users should not be opening/printing attachments from emails,
but they still do and then phone us to complain that nothing works.

I thought that the customisation of the Normal.dot may have been causing a
problem, so I removed that a couple of weeks ago, and it doesn't seem to have
made any difference.

Has anyone seen this before or have any idea what might be causing it? It's
causing some major headaches now!

Many thanks, K

bPint rings a bell,: it sounds like a third party add-in macro for a mobile
of some kind, possibly a Palm. Check to see if there is a macro with a
similar name and then find out where it comes from (probably one of the
templates in Start up). This macro probably needs updating.

Terry,

bPrint is a macro in an addin that we created. It works fine most of
the time and was recreated when we upgraded to Office 2003.

We get errors in other macros in that addin when documents are just
opened from an email, then the user tries to print/save or one of the
other macros.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Kelly

Temporarily remove the macro add-in and see if that resolves the problem. If
it does resolve the problem, then work out why it isn't working correctly. I
cannot advise any more than that. Post the macro to the appropriate Word,
VBA programming groups if you have difficulty tracking the problem.
