Compiling vba code as stand alone exe

Hello,

I'm trying to locate a free or opensource compiler that would enable me to
compile some vba coding that I have done into stand alone exe. Can this be
done? if so, could someone point me in the right direction please.

Hi Daniel,

Afraid not. VBA exists within a host application, and needs that application
to run it.

You could write your code in VB, using the VB product, but if that is
working on a workbook, then you will need to access that workbook via
automation, which is a bit trickier.
