% complete based on being on time

Brian

I have done this in the past but forgot how to. There is a
way to tell Project to calculate the project % complete
based on all activites being on time....so it could be
compared to what the "actual" % complete is....any help?
Thanks, Brian

Never heard of a feature exactly like that in Project. Are you sure you're
not thinking of the "Up Project As Complete Through mm/dd/yy" option in the
Tracking menu? That one posts percent complete as if everything happened
exactyly according to what the present schedule says it should up to the
status date but if the present schedule has already been adjusted by
previous updates with some tasks finishing late, etc, the work posted is
based on the adjusted schedule, not the original baseline schedule.
