Hi Golu,

A third party product will allow you to incloroprate custom fields into the
portolio analyser. You can then display the % completed in the portfolio
analyser.
Have a look at this third party tool ( Portfolio Analyser Extender) . We
have used this many times with clients and all are very happy with it.

Not only that you can incorporate any custom field, but this tool allows you
to drill down to a task level and gives you a time dimension with weeks as
well. ( I personaly love it). Have a look at:

This may help
Thanks

Marc, in the list of available fields in that tool, I don't see % Complete!

Am I missing some thing?

Good Point Gol :) Actually you will need to use a custom field, generate a
formular that reads out the % complete field. This custom field then can be
added to the extender and will appear in the Portfolio Analyser.
I hope that clarified it, let me know if you have additional questions
Thanks

Marc,

Could you tell me what are the steps for formula & getting % complete in a
custom field?

I shall be able to go forward from there.

open Project Professional and the global template, go to Tools > Customise >
Enterprise Fields.
Go to the Project Fields ( if you want % complete on project, but this also
works with tasks), choose Number as a type and rename the first available
number to "Project % Complete" ( please note you cannot use % complete bacuse
this name is already used by Project)
Click the "fomular" button and on the new dialog window chose the "Field"
button. Choose "Number" and then "% Complete". Click OK and OK again.
This fomula will now add the % complete value in the custom field and you
can make this custom field visible to PA. This should do the trick
Hope this helps
