COMPLETE lockout, please help

I have a windows XP profesional, and there is a user option of "change
way users log on and off". my friend turned off the welcome screen (where you
normally just click the user and it logs you on). so now i have to type the
account name and the password that he used. I don't know what the account
name is or the password, and he turned the guest account off. i tried to log
in through safe mode but it still won't let me login under any account name.
i can't get into the computer at all to reset any passwords or enable the
welcome screen. I really need help. Any suggestions?

Why not ask your friend to reverse the changes he/she made?
You could also ask in a Windows XP forum, this one is for MS Access, the
database product.

Have your friend log in and change the settings back to the way they were.
When he leaves again change the passwords to any accounts he knows, and don't
*ever* let him touch your computer again.
