completed milestone task doesn't show completed in timesheet view

What is the deal? Open the plan in PPro and the milestone item is
marked 100% complete. After publishing, go to the PWA timesheet view
and it is not checked off and the % Work Completed is BLANK

If you manually updated the milestone as 100% complete in the actual
Microsoft Project plan, you need to click Collaborate - Publish - Republish
Assignments, select the "Overwrite actual work entered by resources" option,
and then click OK. Doing so will "push" the updated milestone status to the
user's PWA timesheet. Hope this helps.

I was doing a "Publish All Information " beforehand which was puzzling
me. Is it just for the milestones you have to publish assignments with
/overwrite? Can you overright actual work entered by resources using
a Publish All?
