Hi,
We're using Project Professional 2003, SP2 and Project Server 2003.
Below is a weird scenario that was tested in production and development
environments:
1. Resource A is assigned to Task A (10hr task) by the project manager
2. Project manager Collaborate>>Publish>>New and Changed Assignments
3. Resource A views timesheet, enters weekly actuals (only 6hrs needed
to complete Task A) and enters 0 hrs in remaining work field for Task A
4. Resource A updates selected row to notify project manager that Task
A has been completed
5. Project manager accepts update from Resource A, project schedule
opens, update is saved to the project schedule and no changes are in
project manager's update cue
6. Resource A views timesheet the following week and notices completed
Task A remains on timesheet
Now, the completed Task A remained on Resource A's timesheet in
production, but automatically disappeared on Resource A's timesheet in
development. Hope someone can help me with this, but is there a
particular setting in our production environment that is not in sync
with the development environment?
