Completed tasks showing zero work and actual work. But AWP has somevalues

Hello All,

This is MS Project Server 2003 SP3 deployment. Client too is on SP3.
On an ongoing project we have this issue. The project was fine so far
and all of a sudden, some of the COMPLETED tasks showing up zero WORK
and ACTUAL WORK. However the AWP is showing some hours which is again
wrong. The PM used to process the task updates every week and just
does accept/reject and publish them.

Where could be the issue? On the processed task updates? Please help
me identifying the root cause.
