Completed Tasks

How can I get completed tasks, defined as tasks that
either have a zero actual, or hours reported, and a zero
remaining work, to show as closed. Tasks will not show as
closed unless they have actuals. Some actuals will not
close. Therefore projects stay open indefinitely.

Have you tried manually setting the % Complete value to 100% for the
completed tasks?
