completely remove MS Office XP

T

I want to completely remove Office XP and re-install it.
I have tried using the unintall wizard but when I
reinstall, all of my settings are still there (like in
outlook) so it must not be completely removed when
uninstalled.

Can anyone help?

Tom,

Uninstalling Office will never remove any "user data". This includes the
registry information that specifies the different settings in the Office
programs. If you want to reset the "user data" you can do this without
having to uninstall Office.

1. Start any Office program.
2. On the Help menu click Detect and Repair.
3. In the Detect and Repair dialog enable the "Discard my customized
settings and restore default settings" checkbox.
4. Click Start.

Hope this helps.
