Completing A Project

I have a project that we originally scheduled several tasks on. However, it
appears now that some of these tasks will never occur since the project is
completed. Any suggestion on how to do that without losing the fact that
these tasks were scheduled but showing that the project is 100% completed?

I believe the best way to handle this is to set the Remaining Work to 0
hours on any task that was not needed. After doing so, you should also add
a Note to each of these tasks to document the fact that they were unneeded
and were therefore cancelled. Hope this helps.
