Complex Scripting - font dialog box

I have Word 2002 and noticed just now that my Font dialog box has a new area in it called Complex Scripting. Tools > Options has a new tab called Complex Scripting too. I am not sure how this came about? I have Word 2002 SP3 installed on Windows XP Home edition. Has anyone seen this or know what it is and do I need to remove it?

I think this comes from enabling something in languages on your
machine; possibly an Asian language?
