COMPlus tool to reinitiate the com plus everyday

This place is using Project Server 2003 (no service packs)
Problem OLAP and connection to WSS keeps dropping every night.

I can fix it by running the COMPlus utility, however; I do not want to
run it everyday or schedule a job to.

My first thoughts are to apply SP 1 & 2.

Has anyone had this problem? there is nothing in the event logs that
indicate what maybe wrong.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Without some bread crumbs to follow it's difficult to say. One gotcha I've
come across is domain security policy enforcement. The fact that these fail
nightly suggests, or at least makes plausible, an external cause such as
this. Ask your network folks if there's anything in domain security policies
that could kill the COM object identity or its ability to run.
