I am running OL 2003, on an Exchange Server, on Win XP SP2.
When you compose an email and hit the "Send/Receive" button, the email will
go to the Outbox and sit there. I have to click on Send/Receive button from
the main menu in order for the message to be sent.
I went to check the settings and it is set to send immediately in Options in
Mail Setup. The check box is selected to send the mail immediately when
connected.
I tried unselecting the box and applying those changes and trying that, does
the same thing. Then I went back and checked the box to enable it and
applied those changes. Still sits there until you tell it to send manually.
It sends and receives fine, but composed emails will sit there in the
Outbox.
