Comprehensive List of Formulae and Link to excel Sheet for Updates

Hi

Looking to create some custom fields for Start and Finish and if Possible to
draw these out automatically from an Excel sheet.

However I imagins as I disect the info I will be looking at Variance on
Duration as well as Custom Start/Finishes, as not to corrupt the Master
Programme ( the excel sheet is almost like a lower level of he Programme)

1)Is there any comprehensive list of Formulae/ee people have that I can aquire
2)Is there a easy way for me to link the infomration as I gather the Excel
field number will be the same but the file name change every progress update
......does that mean I will have to re energise every link....
