The format opicture option allows you to crop an image.
Ther is also a 'compress' option that, according to the
help, allows you to permanently remove the cropped part of
pictures from the selected picture or all pictures in the
document. This would be good as it would both reduce size
and prevent any recipient from being able to view the
cropped areas of pictures. For example, they might be
screen shots with data on part that we do not wish to
disclose.
I have never found this to work, and I've tried many
times. The alternative is having to pre-edit every image
in a separate application - possible, but less convenient.
