Greetings, all.
I created a PowerPoint 2007 presentation with a large number of large .tif
files. Once I got things cropped and placed the way I wanted, I had
PowerPoint compress them. There was no change in the file size, and the
cropped areas are still there.
Instead of posting straight-away, I did some experimenting. I inserted a
..jpg image, and PowerPoint compressed and deleted cropped areas as expected.
Then I tried a different .tif file and also got the expected results.
So, after my tests, my new question is: When is a .tif not a .tif? Or -
Why will PowerPoint compress/ crop some .tif files and not others?
Regards,
Michael
