Compressing Lines Of Print

I am using W 7 and MS Word 2003.
I am printing a document at a size of 100 pixels. I have modified the
data so that the characters on a line slightly overlap each other. I
do this by selecting a line of data then Format > Font > Character
Spacing > Spacing > Condensed > By > 15pt.
The above works fine for me so far. What I also want to do is to bring
each line closer to the line under it. I would like to do it so that
the bottom of each line just touches the top of the succeeding line.
Is it possible to do this and how do I do it?

That's the line spacing setting in the Paragraph dialog. You can set it for
an Exactly amount that is less than the nominal point size, or you can set
it for a Multiple amount that is less than 1.

Thank you for your reply. I used Multiple and .78. Any value less than
that and I lost a portion of tops of the characters. Note all
characters are uppercase. This did bring the lines closer together but
they did not touch as I would like to have.
I used Exactly and 74 pt . Again any value less than that ant the tops
were lost. The lines did get closer but did not touch.

Note that often the text will print as desired even though it is displayed
as truncated even in Print Preview, so be sure to test printing before
concluding that you have failed. Note, however, that for what you are trying
to do, more likely you need an illustration program--or WordArt at the very
least.
