I am creating a floating bar chart in Excel for people's
work schedules. The data comes from Access 2000. The
length of the bar is in an Access Query Duration: (Format
([EndTime]-[StartTime],"ShortTime")) computed as Time to
match the x-axis "time-of-day". The values come out as
8:30 for 8.5 hours, etc, which is perfect. Actually
comes out "08:30" - the zero in front seems to be keeping
Excel from handling the values correctly - If I
type "8:30" into the cell by hand, everything works
perfectly. I can't find a formatting function that can
fix this - any suggestions?
