I have a Dell desktop (barely 2 years old) running on XP that has crashed
twice. I had to have the hard drive replaced last fall and had to reinstall
all software. Dell recommended I upgrade from 2003 to 2007 due to a corrupt
file, etc. so I did at that time.
NOW, the computer has crashed again, a blue screen, and I had to format my
hard drive, replace mother board and memory (glad I bought the extended
warranty) In the process of reinstalling 2007 Professional upgrade the
computer requests the cd for the previous version (2003) of office
professional. I have either misplaced or trashed the original 2003 cd's in a
de-cluttering office expedition and therefore am unable to install 2007
upgrade. I have registered all versions/upgrades. Does anyone have any
suggestions how I can fix this without buying a full version of 2003 or 2007,
which I cannot afford? I would really appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!
