computer crashes when saving in word 2002

crashes "blue scren of death". After restart, message

Hi Spencer,

I have a couple questions concerning your problem.
1. Where are they saving the files to, the local driver or a network share?
2. Can they save in other programs?
3. What version of Office are you running?
4. Try launching Word with the /a, to do this go to Start>Run and type in windword.exe /a and click Ok
5. Try saving the document again, do you still get the crash?
