Computer Error Messages

I am currently using Windows XP on my home computer, and
my internet service is MSN 9. I recently installed the
Teachers/Students version of Microsoft Office, containing
Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint. Ever since the
system was installed, however, I keep getting error
messages -- one while in certain websites, and one just
before I shut down my computer.

The message I get while on the websites (usually a
map/driving directions site) is as follows: Error A
Runtime Error has occurred. Do you wish to Debug? Line:
4 Error: Expected ';' (Yes) (No)

The message I get just before shutting the whole system
down is as follows: The instruction at "0x00149e29"
referenced memory at "Oxffffffff." The memory could not
be read. Click OK to terminate the program. Click on
CANCEL to debug the program.

I'd like to know (1) what problem in my system is
responsible for these messages, and (2) how to get rid of
the problem and/or the messages.

Please contact me at either the above-referenced e-mail or
at (602) 257-7730 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mountain
Time. Thank you.
