Computer freezes during Outlook 2003 POP3 email check.

Hi,
Using Outlook 2003.
When I make a Send and Recieve, everything on the computer stops, meaning
that i can only move the mouse, but the email downloads continue and work...
once it reaches 100% everything is normal again!

This is a very strange situation.... it also happens during the automated
email check... I have 8 email accounts, so the whole email check procedure
takes about 2 minutes.....

I just reinstalled everything on a fresh formatted computer... this is a
mystery for me !
