Computer freezes up

Document in Word 2000 is all black text with one clip-art
object. When I request print in gray scale, the document
prints normally. When I uncheck gray scale to get the
object in color, the computer freezes completely,
resulting in the blue screen and the need to reboot. I run
Windows 98 and an HP OfficeJet printer. Any ideas?

Sounds like a printer driver problem. If you close Word and make the change
directly to the driver through the Printer dialog, does that still cause a
system freeze? Check that you have the latest driver for the OfficeJet too.
