Computer freezes when changing font Outlook 2007

When attempting to change the default font in Font and Stationary, in Outlook
2007, my computer freezes and I have to use Ctrl/Alt/Delete to exit Outlook.
I can't seem to get the Font and Stationary box to open to accomplish this
task. Does anyone have a resolution to this issue? Thank you!
