Computer reboots when saving document

I have a customer with computers running Windows 2000 Pro with SP4. They use
Office 2002 Pro. I have applied all of the Windows and Office updates
available. They have their data saved on a Novell 4.1 server. Every thing
has been fine running like this for 2 or 3 years. What has started happening
is when they go to save a document in Word or Excel the computer will reboot.
It can be a new or old document. It started off with two users reporting it
to me. Now it has happened to 3 more people. It is an intermitent problem
though. Some days or even days in a row it works fine and other days it does
it all day long. Has anyone experienced this problem?

Thanks,

Mike

That's going to be very difficult to diagnose as there's no real clue. I
suggest that examining the Windows log files and server log files to see if
they give any hint. I also suggest you try the Novel forum to see if they
have had this reported. It could be anything from Anti Virus to a corruption
in the user profile at log on - especially if they use roaming profiles.
