Computer started telling me I haven't administrator rights

Out of the blue, my computer has started to tell me I do not have
administrator rights and prevents me from downloading programmes. eg it has
prevented me from downloading service pack 3 although it allowed me to
download service pack 2 some time ago. What can I do to reassert my
administrator rights

Hi, Bill,

You may want to post to a Windows support newsgroup for the version of
Windows you are running. This group is for Microsoft Office related items.
