computer types ramdom text by itself in office applications

Help. The problem only occurs in office programs - not
is others like corel or adobe. It's not a virus that my
latest updated files can find. It's really annoying as
when you go to type any letters, or anything in any of
the office programs it randomly starts typing 'half-day
half-a-day' etc. I don't know if it had anythign to do
with installing the voice recognition software - but it
did start around that tyime. I have of course
uninstalled that software bu the problem still occurs.
Anyone who has had this annoying problem out there or who
has a fix PLEASE let me know

Speech recognition may still be enabled in Office. Check to see if Word >
Tools > Speech is active.
