I'm relatively new to using Access. I work at a music library and have
created a database of our uncataloged sheet music. I want to use this
database to print out reports that library patrons can use to browse this
music. Some of the pieces have more than one composer, arranger, poet, etc.
I've created a separate table of "Names" and used linking tables to link the
names to the pieces of music. This seems to be working okay. However, when I
created a "master list" report of all of the sheet music, pieces with more
than one composer, arranger, etc. are listed multiple times: once for each
composer.
I did some searching and found information on concatenating records and I
think this might be what I need to do. How can I concatenate these multiple
records so that my report has something like "Composer: Smith, John; White,
Paul; Jones, Mary"? Is this possible?
Thank you!
