Concatenation of fields not always working

Hi

The details below are in relation to the use of the ‘Number Shapes’ add-on
in Visio 2003:

I have created a Custom Property in a Custom Property Set with a value of
‘=Prop.ShapeNumberText&Prop.ShapeNumber’ (i.e. I am wanting to view the
result of concatenating Prop.ShapeNumberText and Prop.ShapeNumber).

Sometimes the correct value is returned and shown in the Custom Properties
of a shape but sometimes the formula itself is shown (i.e. the result of the
calculated formula is not shown as required).

Is there a problem with my formula or how else may I ensure that I am able
to view the result of the concatenation of the two fields in the custom
properties of a shape?

What do you mean by return. ?

Be aware that you can get the formula of a cell with the property
"MyCell.Formula" and you can get the Result with the property
"MyCell.Result" or "MyCell.ResultStr", "MyCell.ResultInt".
