Concerning Type Libraries Visio 10.0, 11.0 Standard and Pro

I have an access database that populates a Visio drawing. The shapes
in this drawing link back to the database via ODBC connection strings.
I am interested in deploying this database now, and I need to know
what software I need to by for the client machines. I am currently
using Visio 2002 Pro (Visio Type Library 10.0) and Visio 2003 Pro
Trial(Visio Type Library 11.0). I was wondering if it is possible for
me to be cheap and buy Visio 2002/3 Standard for the client computers.
I assumed since the type libraries (?are the same?) for the standard
and professional versions that my code would work for either version.
However, I don't want to waste a lot of money on software I cannot
use. So, I'd also be interested in Open Source equivalents. Any
comments or help would be appreciated.

There would be no difference in type libraries between Standard and
Professional editions. There are differences between 10.0 and 11.0, though
in most cases the 11.0 library is backward compatible. I certainly
recommend testing on both versions before you deploy.
