Concord duo lcd causes crashes

The Concord eye duo lcd driver for win 2k causes crashes after closing
any scanning software one use (ex. arcsoft photoimpression, adobe
photoshop)
a "memory could not be read" windows error appears when closing
I´ve tried updating directx from 7 to 9 but the error is still there.
Im using win 2k spanish version service pack 4
