Conditional Format - Subform - Access 2003

I regretfully upgraded to Access 2003 this week and there
is a very irritating bug in the program. When a subform
(in datasheet view) has a field with conditional
formatting, that field appears to continually refresh
(flashes continually). There was a similar problem noted
in the Knowledge Base, but the resolutions there did not
solve my problem.

It is very easy to trigger this kind of endless loop with Conditional
Formatting, and it cannot be solved in all cases. A typical example involves
CF on a calculated field.

The problems are documented (but not solved) in this article:

This is a date field, and not a calculated date field. My
frustration comes from the fact that the conditional
formatting worked fine in Access 2000 and Access 2002.
Thanks for the suggestion. The calculated field problem
makes some sense, but this is just one of the many
irritating little problems that I have encountered with
this upgrade.
