Conditional Format

Hi All

I have a vertical calendar

Column A contains dates formated as such

August 25, 2003

Column B has a formula which = column A and is formated with dddd

I tried to do a conditional format in column B which said:

If cell is equal to Sunday then color the cell

It dosn't work.

What am I doing wrong?

Rick forgive me, but I can't make this work.
Could you be more specific?

The formula I gave is what should appear in the conditional format dialogue
box. It essentially is saying,"Cell is equal to Sunday..." This will resolve
to either a TRUE or FALSE value, which will then trigger the conditional
format you assigned.
