Conditional Formating and auto filling

Justin

I have 2 columns with dates in them, I want to change colour of the 2nd date
dependant on the 1st. I can do that no worries but when I try to fill it
downwards all the cells will look at the first cell I set the condition to
rather than the adjacent cell

Change absolute reference to relative reference. From your conditional
formatting formula remove the $ sign from the row. Suppose if it is $D$1
change that to $D1
