hi!

I am makin a decision tree where I would like to by either checking a box or write in a value highlight a certain cell. E.g. by writing "1" in cell B20 I would like Cell A10 to become green. Is there a way of doing that in Excel 2008?

Thanks for your help!

Yes! Select cell A10. Go to conditional formatting in the format menu. For
condition 1, select formula is. In the formula section, enter =b20=1, then
set the cell format that you want when b20 is 1.
