I have an InfoPath 2007 form users access from a SharePoint site and then
submit via email. What I am having trouble with is that I want to bring in
some data from a SQL server and then have the form show which of those fields
have been updated. We want the users to start with what's already in the
database and have the people who are doing data entry to easily be able to
tell what needs to be updated. Having users directly update the database info
themselves by submitting the form is a non-starter.
But of course "info has been changed" or something similar is not a
condition that's available in conditional formatting for fields. I'm looking
for ideas on how to handle the problem.
