Conditional formatting delayed

I have a report where names are underlined if certain conditions are met.
When the report displays on the screen, before the user selects print, and
before the user clicks it to make it large, the last visible underlining is
not there (i.e., say 5 out of 10 rows need underlining - when the report is
still small - whole page showing, only 4 rows are underlined). Once the
user clicks to make the report larger the underlining displays properly. Is
there anything I can do about this?

It is not delayed. It is just not visible when the report is shown at
reduced resolution. The problem is when "shrinking" the report to fit on
the page, the underline may occur on one of the horizontal spaces that gets
removed to shrink the display. It is still there and it will still print.
