Conditional Formatting for Expressions

B

I have an expression box control that contains the sum of a number field in a
repeating table.
I need to be able to change the color to red if the number is less than 40
When I go into conditional formatting for the expression box control, there
is no option to choose the expression box control so I don't know where to
check for the value of it.

Any help is appreciated....Beth

I had already thought about tusing a text box, but Infopath is requiring that
I bind it to a field in the database. So that is why I thought I had to use
an expression box. How can I get around binding to a field in my database
(access) that does not exist?

Thanks...Beth

You can add a field to the Main data source via the "Data Source" pane. Once
you've added this field, you can drag-and-drop it onto your form, and then
change it into whatever control you like.
