I am trying to make use of conditional formatting in what would seem to be a
very straightforward way. However, the results are very inconsistent. I am
simply specifying different background colors for controls in a row (on a
stacked layout) based upon three conditions. The conditions are the
expression: [duplicatestatus]=1, [duplicatestatus]=2, [duplicatestatus]=3.
It works fine for one column, but the same conditions don't work for
another. I get one or two of the conditions, and the other is ignored.
If I delete all the conditions, then add one, then close the conditional
formatting dialogue box, it works for that one. I can then add the others
one at a time, closing the dialogue each time. Kind of bizarre behavior.
Does anyone know the rhyme or reason behind this? I hate to hand over an
application where I'm not really sure I'm understanding what Access is doing
and why.
Thanks!
