In my 2007 Beta of Office Excel, I have set Conditional Formatting to occur
when specific text occurs. However, when I change the text in these cells,
the formating remains until I manually change the text color, or hit another
conditional format.
Precise Case Example:
Cell B3 contains the text "Not In Box" so conditional formatting sets font
to "RED."
Cell B3 changes to "In Box" which is not a conditional format, so it should
go back to cell's standard text color (black) but doesn't.
Cell B3 changes to "JOHNNY'S" to test if conditional format is simply
catching on the "In Box" as a partial match, but even on a value of
"Johnny's" the text remains red.
Later, I found and tested "Stop If True" check box, but it had no effect on
the situation.
Obviously I'm not asking for a fix, just pointing out a problem and a
perhaps acute stupidity on my own part.
