Conditional formatting of Form Fields in Word 2007
At work I use Word 2003, and am trying to conditionally format form fields
in a table (in a template), in a similar way to which you can do in Excel. It
was not working properly in that I could not assign the macro.

I figured this to be a security issue, but to check that my macro would work
I tried it out at home where I am using Word 2007, only to find that I could
not find the option to assign a macro to the form field. Does anyone know how
to do this?

The new form fields in 2007 are somewhat rudimentary. Stick to the legacy
tools to which end you will find
http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Classic Form Controls.htm useful. The legacy
fields will be required if you plan to distribute the form to others who may
not have Word 2007.

You will find some macros on my web site
http://www.gmayor.com/word_vba_examples.htm that show how to format table
cells based on the results of form fields that may help. In a kindred vein
you may find http://www.gmayor.com/SelectFile.htm useful.
