Conditional Formatting Problem and #Name? Error

I am trying to set up conditional formatting for a grand total field on a
report for any employee who works over 80 hours. I want this field to be
highlighted on the report. This field is a text field that calculates the
sum of hours in another field for all programs worked by the employee (could
work more than one program during the period) and is set to give a running
sum for the employee.

When I set up conditional formatting and run the report, I get an #Name?
error for each field. Conditional formatting works just fine for the sum of
hours field but I need it on the grand total field as well since even though
the sum of hours for a particular program may not be over 80 hours, the grand
total might be.

I can't figure out why I am getting this error. I haven't changed the name
of this field or anything like that. The field calculates and displays
correctly without conditional formatting added to it but if it is added so
that it highlights the field if the total is greater than 80 then I get the
#Name? error shown when I display the report.

Is it because this field is calculated based on values in another field? Is
there a way for me to fix it so that I can get the field highlighted when
necessary?
