Conditional formatting + styles

Is it possible to use conditional formatting together with a style
that I have created in Excel?

I open the "conditional formatting" dialog and click the "style"
button.
In the Style dialog I can't find a place to select the style that I
have created.

Given that MacXL doesn't have a style button in the conditional
formatting dialog, I suspect you'd have more success posting in a
non-Mac XL newsgroup (e.g., microsoft.public.excel.misc).

Hi!

In fact I meant to ask it for the Mac version (Excel 2004). I couldn't
find any way to use styles together with conditional formatting and
therefore asked here to see if I had missed something obvious. But it
seems to be impossible. Correct?

I am a little surprised, however, since when searching for an answer
to yhis issue I found some page claiming that older Windows versions
of Excel (2000 or maybe 2003) would have this possibility. Can't find
that particular page any more, though.

Yes. I was apparently confused, because it appeared you were referring
to a non-existant button.

Don't recall that option.
